The Mendon Foundation proudly presents its 19th annual Bird Walk Series. Come out and join us for these wonderful FREE events. Geoff Gretton and Connie Kellogg, long-time bird enthusiasts, will lead the walks. Identify and observe a variety of birds by song and sight.
No sign up is required. We welcome everyone (8-years old and older).
The dates for the 2025 Bird Walk series are as follows:
- April 26, 2025: Lehigh Valley Trail – Plains Rd – Rochester Junction entrance
- May 3, 2025: Honeoye Haven – Mendon Foundation Property - 1136 Mendon Center Rd. Park across the street off the road. The group will meet there for directions
- May 10, 2025: Great Bend Park – Meet at the parking lot off Clover Street
- May 17, 2025: Sibleyville Nature Reserve – Mendon Foundation Property. Take 15A to Plains Road. The parking lot will be about 2/10 of a mile on the right off Plains Road
- May 24, 2025: Mark Tubbs Park, Lima – 7384 Ziegler Drive, Lima
Meet at 7:45am sharp. All bird walks begin @ 8:00 am. Be sure to wear appropriate weather gear and hiking shoes. Do not forget your binoculars and camera. Please e-mail Jaye Knight at if you need directions or additional information.
