This Fall the Mendon Foundation designed and purchased new signage to be used consistently around the perimeter of all of its Land Trust Properties. Using GPS survey software, teams of volunteers spent numerous days on all of the Mendon Foundation properties to install the signs. These new signs reflect standardized rules for each of the properties so that the Mendon Foundation can assure that these beautiful green spaces can be maintained for everyone to enjoy. We welcome the public onto our properties year-round to hike, bird watch, picnic, watch a sunset, or just get closer to nature. We prohibit hunting, trapping, logging, dumping, campfires, or unauthorized vehicles.
While completing this signage project, we used the opportunity to reintroduce ourselves to many of the neighbors surrounding our land trust properties. We are very appreciative of our wonderful neighbors, and we want to give special thanks to those neighbors who spend time helping maintain these green spaces.
