Day of Caring is the largest community-wide volunteer event across our region, serving Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, and Wyoming counties. Volunteers connect with co-workers, friends, and family to spend the day helping hundreds of local nonprofits.

On this special day, the Mendon Foundation will be leading two teams of volunteers to assist with trail work on the Lehigh Valley Trail in the Town of Rush. A great way to enjoy the outdoors, contribute to the community, and make some new friends! We will meet at 9:00am at the Lehigh Valley Trail parking lot on East River Road. Please contact John Farrell, Lehigh Valley Trail Operations Manager at LVT@mendonfoundation.org to notify him that you will be participating, special tool / equipment needs, as well as any other questions you may have. Everyone is welcome. We always encourage you to wear boots and work gloves, and bring a bottle of water.
